Great momentum on the horizon!
Network Rail has awarded a multi‑staged pilot project approach to Navitas Engineering Ltd and METUSAN FUTURE GmbH to explore the next generation of WOLTRONIC innovations.
Stage 1 has already been completed — with strong results.
On 21 January 2026, Navitas Engineering facilitated a hands‑on session which was conducted at the Network Rail Training Facility in Swindon, covering:
🔧 Installation, removal, setup and operation of the WOLTRONIC SNM on an OLE training span (yes, with standard hand tools — no wizardry involved)
🚁 Concept discussions on a potential vision: WOLTRONIC UAV — an airborne assembly robot
📡 Live data insights via the WOLTRONIC NIC
The feedback was outstanding, and several regions have already expressed strong interest in Stage 2 trials.
Close coordination with Navitas Engineering is now underway for HAZID and the next steps toward trial product acceptance.
Innovation becomes real when strong partners lean in — and this collaboration already shows the potential for something remarkable.
